That is so cool!! Psycho Pass movie!! When will the movie release on the interwebs? I am guessing it will show in cinema's in Japan?

i like psycho pass anime but i think it is unfinished..do you know if this film will continue where anime ends?

Tokyo Ghoul √A

Checked out the first episode last night. What a badass first episode and virtually no censoring unlike the last season of Tokyo Ghoul. It also deviated from the manga so I'm expecting an anime original storyline. This seems to be more common these days no? I think studios would rather chase anime and Blu-ray money instead of waiting for the manga.

Kuroko no Basuke

I've been waiting months for this one. It kicks off tomorrow but I think I'm going to wait for it to finish then marathon it. The second season was near unbearable to watch week-to-week because of all the suspense.

Aldnoah.Zero

After the shocking ending of the first season I'm curious as to how they're going to proceed.

Death Parade

From what I've read it involves people playing games like billiards, darts etc. and the losers dying. It's done by Mad House (Guys that made Parasyte) so I'm expecting quality.

Assassination Classroom

Serious-but-funny-but-serious-but-horrible-but-laid-back-but-hilarious-but-serious-but-wtf?

Kantai Collection

This one's been hard to miss because of the game's popularity and sheer amount of fanart and doujin in Japan. I'm still not fully convinced after the first episode but it may have potential.

In addition Cross Ange and Parasyte are still ongoing so it should be a solid season. One Piece and Naruto are part of the furniture so they go without saying.

In case any of you were wondering the third episode of Assassination Classroom has been postponed because of the two Japanese hostages taken by them. The reason is that knives feature prominently in the anime and the ISIS video showing the the Japanese hostages is shown brandishing a knife while making his demands.

Death Parade is also postponed but I couldn't find anything about it.

Saw this on a Japanese site. Everyone on English sites correctly identifies it is because of ISIS but none that I saw mention knives specifically.

Interestingly Japanese netizens in general are pissed off and calling Fuji TV and anyone responsible idiots. That anime doesn't have anything to do with world events etc. Netizens on the "English Internet" are saying things like "oh it's understandable", "it's to show respect for the families etc." :D

Due to some policy changes on 2ch some regulars over there got really pissed off and left 2ch. A good number of them made their way over to reddit. As a result r/japanese and r/newsokur have become flooded with Japanese otaku. The interaction between two groups of geeks that are otherwise separated has been quite interesting to watch.

2ch doesn't follow web standards, which means that some parts of it don't work as they are meant to. (They use custom .dat files which are then converted to html). The UI is also horrendously out of date. As a result many (maybe most?) Japanese people use custom open-source browsers to view and post on the site.

The guys in charge over there are going to introduce a new API that will make these open-source browsers obsolete and release another one, they are also going to force ads using the browser (which many people block).

Many people also feel that the powers that be are cashing in on their subculture (they want to stay underground gaming geeks AFAIK). Exactly how they are doing this I'm not completely sure. For mainly these two reasons a lot of users gave 2ch the finger and splintered off. A lot went to other Japanese-based chan sites but several thousand by the looks of it went to reddit.

So this season was crap.
Death Parade was ok, dropped almost everything else.
