So after spending hours on the internet I finally found this forum and I hope I can get the answers I need.
Quick summary: My mate and I have decided when this pandemic is over(or is manageable), we should go out the country and see the world and live a little. We're both in our early 20s and don't have the best jobs(we earn peanuts). We decided to start saving and a little gambling to help fund our little trip.
Now we're mostly concerned about the visa part:
Does the job you do or income you make affect the outcome of the application or is the funds in your account the most important thing?
We both have pretty close friends we meet online and have known for years and are also planning to visit, would it be advantageous to ask them to provide a letter of invitation?
Your help will be appreciated.
