Looks like we'll remain #1 in ODIs

Australia are bundled out for 176. India managed to become #1 for a few days before losing it, and now it's looking to be the same with the Aussies.

It's so funny, we haven't played an ODI in almost 6 months, and we'll (now almost certainly) still be #1 heading into the CT :D

We won't. Unless I have it wrong 6-1 or 7-0 means aus are number 1 going into ct.

6-1 means that Aus lose 2 points and drop to 3rd :) ODI rankings are updated after each match, and seeing that England are so low, Aus can't afford to lose to them.

+1.

Noticed the ICC always refers to The Wanderers as The New Wanderers Stadium...even though the original Wanderers is now the terminal at Park Station and the current Wanderers has been standing since 1956...
I know, it doesn't matter to anyone but yeah, have always found it weird, not even Cricket SA calls it that. :p

Yeah it is quite strange. All the same, I've got some semi-final tickets for the Wanderers, and if all goes well then it'll be SA vs Aus/Ind/Pak :)
