Rape and theft are different things. However if you dehumanize someone enough you will se the worst version of them.

Its a perfect example of moral subjectivity, Its too easy to wash this away saying "oh its just evil", but human beings are easily capable of such things.

Irony is that the Nazi's justified what they did by saying that Jews were filthy rats that needed to be eradicated. It was ok to them because they believed they were good and the Jews were evil.
Its this very delusion that some people are just "evil" so we can treat them as such...

Then just look at the attitudes in this thread where some people in this community may have been involved in the looting but everyone roped into the same "they" and dehumanized.

I'm with those that say its a mindset.. no morals, no ethics, no consequences, that's all western not for us..
It also explains me most ANC leaders, but its just the law of the jungle, its called politics of the stomach.

Mindset.....crab in the bucket mindset. Culture .....of entitlement encouraged by certain political figures.
No one is disputing you dont have looting in other countries however its a pandemic in South Africa. Because of bad governance and no rule of the law or lack of implementation.

Did not starve...no...but many a night drank water to fill my stomach to ease the hunger pains.

Why would the Nazis put up a sign that says "work shall set you free" above a concentration camp where the intention of the was to kill off the prisoners?

They did that because they knew it was a horrible thing to do. They recognised the evil of doing it.

Completely invalid statement comparing "Nazis claiming Jews to be evil" with my "theft is evil". This is part of the mindset to dig up any nonsense excuse to justify evil, or else to claim evil is not evil. Theft is evil, any "but"s are also just evil. So then if theft is not evil, then what is evil? And down the slope it goes in that now nothing is evil. This is a sick mentality.

No, not nothing is evil... evil does not exist. Just selfish humans. We can argue this better in PD if you want.

Nazi's believed that they had exclusive rights to Germany and Jews that were in Germany (for hundreds of years already) were taking opportunities and wealth away from "Natural Germans".
They firmly believed that this was theft.

Anyway, I'm not disputing that looting is theft. Only that from their point of view its already something that has been stolen from them. So calling them evil is simplistic, they see corporations as evil whites.

When you wash something with that label you create justification to commit atrocities.

Russia is evil because they invaded Ukraine, so we can nuke them.
USA is evil for what they did in the east so we can fly planes into their buildings and plant bombs.
Black men raped some woman so we can just shoot at them indiscriminately.
White people took over our land so every thing they have is ours.

Its the logic of the indoctrinated.
