Nope... CodeMasters - in their brilliance - decided to patch through launcher first; make standalone available later.

I wanted that never-died-before title. However, they've made it unbelievably easy to achieve now

Yep. It was only 650 megs according to the forums... The US one was 900-odd... But it took ages to download - 10KB/s ... Yay! *sarcasm*
