Lowest international call rates in South Africa: MTN promotion launched

MTN has slashed the price of its international call rates to 75c per minute to popular international destinations

Hello Mobile (Runs on Cell C Network) is still cheaper.. Check their site, some countries from as little as R0.35 per minute, China/India/ Italy/France etc from R0.50 per minute..

So it's cheaper to call another country than it is to call another MTN phone in SA. Why is nobody questioning this blatant theft?

Even if this was news, which it is definitely not, the headlines should mention it for 3/4 of a month. They could have just made it for a few days.

This is such a fantastic platform for insightful news but some articles should be more distinct.

MTN is now going through retrenchments. So Cell C really did a shake-up.

Not a bad move but what have they been waiting for all along

Its only a promotion for a few days so more like smoke and mirrors bullschit from MTN.Useless response aimed at keeping dumb consumers on their network......

Until now they havent responded to Cell C's pricing and they are paying the price.

MTN - Destination: South Africa (Call to same network in the middle of the night): R2.30/minute.

I can't wait to dump MTN. 2 more months.

Oh crap. I should've read that properly. It's only a promo. MTN can go fly!
