Nope, most certainly not. Users like myself (blogging on TM and MTN) and cavedog have profiled very good LTE coverage off the coverage map. TM's stance is that if you are out of official coverage (their map) you mustn't use the service (sales suicide).

Basically as always with a mobile service provider where you buy a SIM to test coverage at a specific location, you need to do the same with LTE.

There are also cases on mybb where users inside the LTE coverage areas aren't getting very good speeds at all.

Yes like myself. I'm approximately 1.5km from the tower and 1km within the LTE coverage area. But no LTE signal at all with the E5776 mifi telkom supplied. Technicians came and were dumbfounded. Still await their report and recommendations.
