What frequency does analogue use ? The gold/platinum/diamond freq everyone wants their hand on.

I managed to buy a Huawei B593 compatible with the Telkom Mobile network for R3600.00 from a Telkom Direct store. Telkom didn't want to sell it to me for whatever reason, but I was insistent and smiled a lot and eventually walked out with one.

One point to note, is that some of my older 8ta SIM cards do not work on LTE. I did a SIM swap to a more recent Telkom Mobile SIM and the B593 connected first time after a reset with new SIM card. Again Telkom didn't want to do the SIM swap for me, they insisted that it would not work. eventually I just crunched the SIM in half and all was well.

Hi. Anyone interested in a group buy please pm me. Im ordering the B593u-91 unlocked from souq.com in Saudi Arabia. Its a mobily branded model but has been unlocked. They use the same frequency as TM. Only no external antennas in the box. Price R1100 excluding shipping and customs.

Check http://saudi.souq.com/sa-en

The Telkom issues ones don't come with mini antennas either.

I'm interested in a B593u-12 for MTN use. Is that available too? These run on the Zain network as compared to Mobily.

Won't work for MTN on the 1800 MHz spectrum. He refers to all-network but I think that is the B593u-22 model. Regardless, I need a B593u-12.

P.S. LOL @ the dodgy description.
