44kCost?
44kCost?
What panels did you get?Installer can only come on Monday for a proper site check, though gonna need a new server/battery rackso gotta go trying to find them.
None as yet, the installer wants to check things first, I also want to run past the bifacial ones, plus I've run out of space to store them right now. What panels did you get?
Paint your roof white and mount them higher?None as yet, the installer wants to check things first, I also want to run past the bifacial ones, plus I've run out of space to store them right now.
Was thinking more like a mirror, so that even planes flying over will be blinded... Take that EscumPaint your roof white and mount them higher?
Are you going to use them in a way that it can generate from both sides? I have the Seraphim 600w biracial ones, but mounted onto my pitched tiled roof. Don't think they make much of a difference, but I dunno. Happy with them though.None as yet, the installer wants to check things first, I also want to run past the bifacial ones, plus I've run out of space to store them right now.
Well for the buddy who is buying my old kit he could use it for both sides, my side sadly not :-( unless I build a pergola near the pool and use them as a roof... Hmmmm two stones one bird, wait I mean the other way.Are you going to use them in a way that it can generate from both sides? You could technically make 30% more if done right. Are you going to use them in a way that it can generate from both sides? I have the Seraphim 600w biracial ones, but mounted onto my pitched tiled roof. Don't think they make much of a difference, but I dunno. Happy with them though.
If they were bifacial maybe, but biracial ones? Not sure on that, I would assume you'd need the black side facing the sun?You could technically make 30% more if done right.

I did see solarwarehouse has 6 thornova panels for 8700, sigh this feels like 2022 all over again.
Hmmm good price
Sling it over the balcony?I still need to find a way to mount my two solar panels at our rental. Roof is not an option.
No balcony. But the roof is tiled and complex wants it certified if mounted.Sling it over the balcony?
Depends on if the garden is fair use or not.No balcony. But the roof is tiled and complex wants it certified if mounted.
I just need to build a portable frame or something and put it in the garden.
Not sure if they gonna moan about that.
Was supposed to be but my landlord put a fence around itDepends on if the garden is fair use or not.
Just make it look nice and they shouldn't moanWas supposed to be but my landlord put a fence around it
I'm sure they will be pretty chilled about it as I am the Comlex Tech Guy. They need to be nice to me if they don't want to pay to have their remotes programmed, DStv fixed, phones fixed when they accidentally activate airplane mode etc.

Oops.Just make it look nice and they shouldn't moan
