I found out last week that my mom has cancer, she's 59 years old. While doing tests they discovered she has Lynch syndrome which predisposes you to getting cancer.

It's hereditary and now I need to go for a test to find out of I have it.

It's not a death sentence, just means that my chances of getting cancer at a relatively young age is much higher.

Still nervous to find out if I've got it though

Anyone else got it?

No. Although my mom has glaucoma and my grandfather had glaucoma. So I am also supposed to go for a test as it is hereditary.

That said. My grandfather died of cancer. And I buried my father who died of cancer. So who knows how I am going out.

Maybe you'll get lucky and a shark will eat you?
