Mac OSX Server 10.6 as workstation

hi all

ive installed OSX Snow Leopard server but it doesn not seem to work with PHP (its enabled), adding a new website (example.com) etc etc.....

anyone got any ideas how to use it as a local machine or should i just insts SL and use MAMP ??

What happens when you point the browser to http://localhost/?

I am not too familiar with SL server - my last edition is tiger server but I am interested in this thread cos I wanna get one of those Mini Servers.

Have you read 'Web Technologies Administration' at http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/resources/documentation.html?
If that doesn't help then maybe this will... http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.macosx.bundled.php.

It may just be me being DOF but a simple task i cannot get done i.e. host my websites localy for testing purposes etc using PHP and MySQL. I create themes for MAGENTO, WORDPRESS etc and test them all locally but I just cannot get it so even install WP. Ahg like i say im back on SL.
