Hi guys, not sure if this is the correct forum, but I upgraded my ram on my MacBook Pro, and put the screws in a pencil case which was subsequently played with and lost by my little boy.

I need to find a set can anyone help? I don't want to pay like more than R50 - R100 or if someone can point me in the right direction. Quite depressing because I used it with a oops bottom plate and no my sub ports don't work.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, why won't regular replacement screws work?

MacBook 15" 2013 Screws Needed Desperately

Thanks for the links
Tried to replace my MBP fans, stripped every screw,
Is there a screwdriver kit available for this, or should I continue with my leatherman ?

Get a set of proper bits either online or maybe from Builders Warehouse. I saw a decent set there the other day. MacBooks use a ranges of screw types from regular Philips, Torx, Allen head, Pentalobe and even Tri-wing. The one from Builders should sort you out.

If you are going to use a Leatherman, then you might as well bring out the angle grinder.

Lol , I tried to drill out one of the screws , slipped, and sunk a big gat through the aluminum case, no internal damage fortunately, wifi cuts out sometimes now. Lovely piece of kit
