Because I have a solar system that gives me 80% of my electricity. I paid about 220k for it.
To get that other 20% will probably cost 3x more.
 
Lol, after my upgrade I must admit these types of articles make me feel awfully smug. I've use 1kwh in the past 4 days.
 
DailyInvestor really is starting to scrape the barrel here. This very same article appeared on 29 October. They are now just duplicating articles to get maximum clicks.

Poor form, @mybroadband, you support this. Is MyBroadband being used as a clickfarm? @Jan , really?

No idea, but imho, all LFP batteries are sorta the same.

There are others too, google 15kWh battery.
 
ja to me the Sunsynk / Deyes have jumped on the band waggon and now inflated their prices because people now think they're the gold standard of inverters and batteries. But every country has their "favourite" inverter / battery.. as the other guy said, I'm sure 90% of these batteries and inverters are the same, only thing changes is the price.

This reminds of the positive feed back loop we used to get from Eskom, where'd they'd increase the electricity price for people using too much, then increase it again because demand drops to make up for the drop in revenue.
