Major Problem With Hsdpa Card

I am unable to connect. A error message 692 appears and says that the port is unavalibe. My assistant is in a total pannic as banking must be done today.



Please help.

new merlin hsdpa card.
in descktop with vodacom supplied converter.
VMC 7

was working fine till this moring.

Have you got a good enough signal?

Are you in an area with 3G or GPRS only coverage? Make sure your profile is not set to 3G only if you only have GPRS available. I had a simular problem. But due to it being a port error, it could be some comms issue between card and PC. I suppose you have tried rebooting windose?

She apparently phoned 082 155 they talked her through uninstalling the modem from the device manager. deleting profiels and the works. she managed to get it working. what causes it i would love to know. But i works again. thanks
