Hmm, with MS continuously messing up with updates, I might as well jump ship to Linux completely.

I prefer Linux where I can, only running Windows for the videogames, (Steam) and work purposes, nothing else.
Windows 10 has become a pain in the butt, from Search functions being broken, not able to open up Control panel because something else is broken, etc.

Seems like MS engineers do not know of something called QA? Or, do they just say ja, we'll fix it later, breaking stuff that is working perfect. Fix one problem, break another perfect thing. Sigh.

Former MS SDET explaining why MS have this OS having so many bugs and stuffs:
TL;DW It boils down to that MS chucked the physical HW setup testing, merged 3 different teams into one, moving test beds to VM's and relying on telemetry from insider builds and bug reports from those users who sends the report to MS.

The other day I couldn't use my machine for more than an hour because it was busy updating only to fail at the end and rolling back. I don't even care what version I'm currently on as it's working and I'm happy.

Why on earth would they do that? It's not like they need to cut costs.

Lol, the techies that think Linux doesn't have bugs....

Well, I did not say Linux was bug-free, just mentioned that the fact that MS continuously messes up with their updates, wanting me to go over to a ecosystem where I can can control the updates like I want.
For example, Windows ALWAYS has something to update, even if you disabled updating (for the simple Win 10 users out there).
Linux too, but still waits for you to approve the update process.
Heck, my linux box had not updates for three years, still running good. I recently updated it now, because I installed a new package.
It nagged me to update to the latest and greatest, I simply ignored it.
