Wanted to go pick up some stuff at Makro (Woodmead) after class and didn't realise "Black Friday" was still going. It was a sea of cars queuing on the road just to get in with some parked where the taxis usually park.

Just how desperate for a deal do you have to be to do that to yourself? Can you imagine what it must look like inside?!

Carnival junction was the same. Went inside and still found parking. Funny the queue inside was only half as long as on a normal pay day.

So yesterday (Sunday), It thought that it would be a good idea to pop down to Makro to do my normal shopping (as I don't go on month-end) thinking that everyone will be broke and all the sales stuff would have been gone on Friday and Saturday.... oh boy were we wrong. The parking lot (which is big) was full and people were even parking outside. We just kept on driving.
