Makro has provided a sneak preview of its first Black Friday 2020 deals which will launch next week, which include a television, laptop, and printer.

That printer is R500 more expensive than what I paid for it at Makro last year.

That TV is more expensive than what it is at the Samsung Store.

Get ready to be rekt boys.
Unfortunately you cannot compare to last year,I mean if things went up 100% almost from Lockdown thanks to a 25% at most loss in currency.

The TV is actually quite cheap - it's the 65" which is normally 20K - 21K

When they said specials throughout November you should have known its gonna be BS. This F-over the last few people that have money left to spend. Marko and management also need Bonuses come December.

either way, still cheaper here
For now, Samsung (not a SA company) will drop the price on the actual Black Friday. These are unofficial deals not the deals from Samsung.

This just proves "Black Friday" has lost its meaning.

Selling old stock no one wants for dirt cheap.

When was Black Friday ever not about getting rid of the old stock? The only difference while in the US the discounts are real, here we apply a mark up first and then give you a discount, which is actually only 10-20% off the original price on the last season item.
