Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille should think about the man she is sleeping with before calling other people "inkwenkwe", or "uncircumcised boys", says ANC treasurer-general Mathews Phosa.

"Malema is not circumcised, but let us not go there, let's keep it decent. We think the call is more an electioneering stunt," Phosa said.

ROFL! I think I just wet myself! :D:D:D So she called him what he is?

On a serious note though: its okay for Malema to call black members of the ANC "garden boys" but they have a hissy fit when Zille fights back. Pot... kettle... black, er, white? "Let's keep it decent" yet Phosa goes on about Zille's sexual relationship. What... a... 'tard.

I think we should all start calling him "inkwenkwe" Seems like it hit a soft spot.......

Thik we should put it on Wiki...... it is a fact. He still has his foreskin, whonder how Phosa knows this? mmmmm? Is that why he so insecure does he (Inkwenkwe) needs to come out of the cupboard?

That was hardly a hissy fit from Phosa. Anyway, I think someone needs to tell Malema to keep quiet.

Not everyone undergoes initiation to be a man. If Julius Malema's culture does initiation and he has not done it, then he can be called that, otherwise it's out of context and therefore has no meaning.

The comments field from that story is just as wonderful:

Inkwenkwe is the Xhosa term for a boy child who has not undergone initiation into manhood and by implication his opinions and statements are of no consequence and deserve to be treated with contempt when they are as rude, uncouthed and baseless as little Julias mostly is. The circumcision is merely a distinguishing mark of the transition into manhood and is not the purpose of the initiation school, which is for elders to teach boys the respect, responsibility and behaviour which is expected of a man. I am sure Mr Phosa understands this cultural belief, yet instead of giving little Julias the guidance and councilling he so obviously requires, all Mr Phosa wants to focus on is little Julias's precious genitals. Who is really electioneering?

+1

But then Malema sounds like a Sotho/Pedi name and AFAIK they do have to undergo circumcision.

This is ridiculous. No matter what the connotation, I simply do not want to know if a man is circumcised or not, no matter who he is.

It is simply a private matter and should remain that way, private.

But this means that he is not a man according to his culture, right?

it is extremely petty, the DA would better serve their supporters by forcing the issues and not personal attacks.
No need to stoop to the depths that Malema and the ANC do.

What is clear so far is that their (ANC) candidate for president and the president of their youth league are completely and utterly terrified to debate issues with opposition parties.

If Malema considers the DA youth league members to be garden boys for instance, why is he afraid to debate issues with such people?
Does he feel that he is to good for themor better than them that he will not entertain an intellectual conversation with them?

I say he is nothing more than a coward, and an intellectually challenged one at that.

Bwahaha! :D Good on her! He deserves to be put in his place! This is EXACTLY what he is... a little baby. He is a coward and name-caller. She beat him at his own game.

Normally I am against any form of mutilation / circumcision, but in this case, he has proven he is a little baby.

Well done Helen! ;)
