I've somehow acquired a virus in my browser, and can't get rid of it without Junkware Removal Tool or Adware Cleaner deleting my wifi driver.

I've also tried resetting Chrome to no effect.

Any idea how to clean it up?

I've since figured out that the malware is changing my proxy settings and when it's removed the settings are still changed. Right now my problem is that my LAN settings are greyed out and I can't edit them.

I've tried editing the LAN properties in the registry and editing the group policies using gpedit, but no luck.

Run the normal Malwarebytes kit.
If it's still happening, check what services are running and isolate it.
