Malware-riddled laptop sells at auction for $1.2 million

A laptop filled with six of the world’s most dangerous viruses and malware has sold for $1.2 million at auction, The Verge reported.

The Samsung NC10 laptop that hosts the malware has been named "The Persistence of Chaos" by its creator, artist Guo O Dong, and was commissioned by cybersecurity firm Deep Instinct.

I've got a funny feeling Guo O Dong just bought this thing from one of my clients...

And here I thought the high prices paid for things like wine and art were ridiculous.

So was there some type of special technique used to install these viruses? are they not supposed to exist on the same PC? Because I am willing to install all these viruses and more on my laptop if I can sell it at that price.

This would only be cool if this laptop was patient zero to all the viruses.
