granted that ride is unsafe, seen it a few times, always thought to myself you have to be crazy to ride it,

imagine if a big gust of wind tips you over, you would end up like this guy, dead...

but then again, when you see how most of the patrons arrive with minibus taxis from JHB
sideways and with a spanner for a steering wheel, is it so dangerous? I bet its relaxing when compared to most of the taxis one sees.

I was on it last year. I’m not afraid of heights but never afuckinggain.
Rode on that thing when I was 11 years old. That was the first and last time. Even at that age I knew this was a terrible idea.

He could have made it easier and died much faster if he just went to any of the high hotels, took an elevator to the top floor and jumped out a window. Not sure why he chose such a ride. We had dinner around 16:00-17:00 close by when all the action happened and he only died at 19:00.

question for people, why cant they string nets to prevent some professor from jumping?

I mean surely its not hard to make this ride a bit safer.
