Man Charged After Leaving Daughter in Freezing Car to Visit Teen
22-year-old Jeremy Sheeler has been charged with criminal endangerment, among other things, after he left his 4-year-old daughter sleeping in a car outside the house of a 13-year-old girl he was visiting.

The girl, who was sleeping when Sheeler left her in the car, woke up, got herself out of the car and started knocking on neighbours' doors. She was shivering, and her skin was purple, according to the neighbour who called the police.

Temperatures late on Friday night reached 14 below zero. The 13-year-old girl admitted that her and Sheeler were in bed together at the time of the incident, but said nothing sexual happened between them.
