Just watched a very interesting video / movie about the life of JRR Tolkien -- born in Bloemfontein
Left at age four with mother and other siblings when his father passed
Saw active service in the WWI and was evacuated from front lines with trench fever
As far as can work out his father must be buried in Bloemfontein somewhere -- anyone know ?
