Is Mandoza a fraud star?

by Lebohang Mpede

Mduduzi Tshabalala, better known as Mandoza appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court yesterday, with his wife Mpho, on charges of fraud.

The trouble began on 6 July when the couple bought clothes from Moyo, which he promised to pay for within a week. Moyo claims that a week later Mandoza's wife returned for more clothes, promising yet again to settle the bill. At the end, the total stood at R18 500.

The couple handed themselves over to police on October 1, after claims by Moyo that they had refused to settle a R18 500 debt with her.

Vaughn Eaton, Mandoza’s Manager, said the confusion exists because the star's management never received an invoice for the clothes.

Mandoza, a self-confessed car hijacker who terrorised Soweto residents, stood trial for assault earlier this year, but was acquitted in May.

The case was postponed to December 12.

Yup...thats so much better than hijacking;)

Drag me to your level i see.

Since hijacking is a violent crime,it just sound better to get your pervetted responses, especially since there wasn't any merit in this thread from the start.

I'm still waiting for your proof that he was drunk.

Lots of people get caught stealing cars when they are young - usually for joyriding. While I do not condone it it is often part of growing up and yes, it is FAR better than hijacking.

Why TF am i defending Mandoza, anyway??

marine1,you're one bitter childish dude.

he's own words..
I got into car theft. We stole cars and stuff like that. At that stage I got arrested. I sat for two years in jail. I sat in Sun City (Daveytown Prison)in 1992, the biggest jail in Gauteng. It was like that. But my heart was not there. I did what I did just for fun, just to get a name in the ghetto. But that wasn’t my life.

Are you addressing me?

This article seems to refer to a misunderstanding over a bill for clothes - hearsay statements about Mandoza being a self confessed hijacker are proof not.

Some free advice...

Next time you post your bitter propaganda,at least make sure you have some real proof.Even you usual cronies didn't support you on this sorry @ss attempt.

Mandoza changed a life of crime and poverty into a succesfull one, despite everything + the system that was against him.If he's guilty he should be punish, but untill that happens,he's innocent.

You looked at that article and could not find anything to use..and then BAM i got it...he's clothes.:D:D:D

Hah, successful? By driving "allegedly" drunk and killing 2 innocent people? He is forever in the news regarding illegal actions. Thats the problem with people like you, you think that is success. ROFL

What has been discussed is respect for the court and for CEOs of companies - respect for the families of the dead in this incident was never mentioned.

It would be possible for Mandoza, or anyone else, to show respect and remorse without a suit. If it were my family that died i do not think i would care too much. Perhaps not shorts and slops, Durban style. But no jacket required.

BTW: Are you serious that he is a self confessed hijacker?

I guess we have different value systems. The way he presents himself in court clearly indicates his respect for (a) the judicial system and (b) the victims of his crime.

I mentioned nothing of him being a self confessed hijacker. Though if he was a highjacker in the past it won't surprise me.

Maybe it is an age thing, the youth today have no respect for themselves, never mind the courts. ;) Maybe people like that were dropped on their heads, maybe they were not hugged enough or maybe they were hugged too much.
I agree with you.

Don't think it is an age thing, certainly not from me, anyway. Respect can be conveyed without resorting to suits and ties.

People stuck in old style things that refuse to move with the times - Maybe people like that were dropped on their heads, maybe they were not hugged enough or maybe they were hugged too much. Maybe they are just ......... Marines ;)

From what i read on this forum most of y'all have no respect for the justice system either. With or without your suits.
