"Mineral Resources and Energy minister Gwede Mantashe says that the South African government is committed to a 'just transition' away from harmful carbon emissions, but will not do so at the cost of anc votes."

Fixed this for you as you must tell the truth you POS.

Yeah go stick your head up your rectal cavity Gweezy,

Who cares about ghost towns in Mpumalanga when the whole damn country is getting fscked by your incompetence.
And right now you lot aren't planning a just transition away from harmful carbon emissions at the expense of economic growth, you are fscking around and its costing this country BILLIONS and hundreds of thousands of jobs.
Every day that you stick your finger up your arse and don't do anything to solve the damn problem, hundreds of people lose their livelihoods.

It is entirely evident that you are only in this for your back pocket and your political support base, and fsck the country as a whole.

No, Gweezy just has the sway of a relatively large voting block, and economic block in the coal industry... This gives him some influence and also protection, but doesn't mean he runs the show.

Lol still not convinced, that's fair anyways. Its just that this is a public platform, I am cautious as to what i say due to my work which deals with these people on a daily basis.

So do we, but that's why this is a forum and not facebook; anonymity is an option. :)

I'm confused, aren't they trying to get money from Germany to stop using coal.
How do these two narratives align?
Or is the gist that they didn't accept the billions from Germany then?

They will use the coal regardless... the money will be used for new luxury German automobiles and lots of Johnnie Walker, tribal weddings and massive gravy boat refills

What economic growth? Surely he realises we are in economic decline. Which is the very opposite of growth.
