A nuclear plant is just extremely expensive.

What type of reactor are they going for?

PWR or BWR are extremely expensive. Complicated and are always way over budget and programme.

Suppose they will go for a Russian one, as they are "cheaper".

Like I trust you @rseholes with nuclear when you can't build a power station to spec without fvcking it up.
You don't want a African Government having anything to do with building a nuclear power station.

Fun little program.

I detonated a Tsar Bomba 2 km above Luthuli House.

The sacrifice of those ~7.3 million will never be forgotten.

Coal powered plants are also not the solution and there are two new big ones. What happens when coal mines start to run dry and mining/coal costs become more and more expensive? Cost will just be passed onto user.

Have to move onto something else asap.

The problem is not so much nuclear. The problem is corrupt and incompetent goverment + nuclear.

SA and nuclear just does not compute, all other SOE have been run poorly and into the ground. They want to play with nuclear where there is no room for error?
