Manufacturing Mode [Dell XPS L502X]??? Why??

Hi guys,

I start my laptop up (I am using the Dell XPS L502X)...It doesnt show me the usual BIOS boot-up (Usually the Dell XPS circle). It shows me "Manufacturing Mode". I do not know what this is, and how it got to this mode. My laptop boots fine into Windows, just now my laptop makes a beep every time I type with my keyboard...Its starting to annoy me.

I can exit this mode (it said I must press Fn + X ). I want to know, how did it get to this mode, and what can be done in manufacturing mode?
