FHM and PC Format closed down ages ago. :crying:

The irony is that online has been unable to monetise itself and a lot of content is still supported by print media.

I used to buy Popular Mechanics regularly... now I get it very occasionally... the format and content has got boring and it's less interactive than an online forum.
They're missing a trick. Would be better to have an online magazine with attached forum IMO.

PM would have been great if they stuck to engineering and man-toys.... but for some insane reason they kept bleating about whatever social fad was the rage. Be it 911, global warming, racism WHO CARES.

I stopped buying PM when half the magazine became just adverts.


The only time I page through magazines now is at the doctors office
