Please support this initiative - marches taking place in various towns and cities in SA and internationally. Details of routes and venues on website. A great family outing for a good cause.

Please help show we care!

What exactly is a march going to do to stop rhino poaching.

If they can explain that, then maybe I'll join.

To raise awareness. Better than doing nothing. Check the website.

So basically nothing then..
Ok, I have more productive things to do with my day thank you very much...

I already donate to people who are actively trying to do things to stop rhino poaching, its a more effective use of my time and money.

Why do you always have to make an issue of everything and be such an a ss? Nobody is forcing you to go, it is just a notification to those who may be interested.
It won't cost anything and is just a way of making the public more aware.

Its more a case of asking the question of what a march of this nature ACTUALLY achieves.... If they had a clear set of objectives that would actively decrease the number of rhino being poached then I'm all for it.. since they don't it deserves to be treated with some type of skepticism from my part.

The public couldn't really me any more aware of this situation if they tried tbh.

Also the fact that there is "official" gear that you can buy, makes me think this is predominantly a money making thing for a select few people, and the majority of money the merchandise actually generates won't go anywhere near actually helping stop rhino poaching.

Just be sure of where your money is going, while the organisers of the march claim to be anti-trade, some of them and the sponsors are actually Pro-Trade, so that is where your money, or at least some it, will be going.
