Cop is a p03s for sure. He is acting extremely unprofessionally and emotional. I do agree that asking what I did wrong etc etc is not the way to go and maybe that's why the cop is going on this power trip but still - the cop saying "we give respect" blah blah went out the window the moment he started shouting.

No wonder people want to question everything these guys do!

Just WOW. Ascertaining the reason for being pulled over by the cops would be at the top of my list.

Cop should have asked for a bribe & moved on like we've come to expect, the whole pseudo-intellectual bullshit about having asked what the reason was is just confusion - ultimately resulting in less pies ending up in fewer stomachs..

Dumass was obviously fuming 'cos le perp didn't screech to a halt and throw himself on the ground while asking how many pushups, baas? Forcing delinquents to do pushups during lockdown has obviously spoiled them.

The cop is a box for sure, but it seems Marius forgot the golden rule, never argue with the cops you won't be on the winning side. And even worse is getting angry, that really pi$$es them off.

Nah the cop was an ass , this weekend I got puled over and asked the same question why are you puling me over , the JMPD officer did not go on like this.
like Marius said not all of them are like this but this guy had an attitude , how dare you ask.

The moral of the story is: "'n Stil bek is 'n heel bek."
However, I was pulled over some time ago and I decided not to enter into any debate. The cop looked at me and then he had a full go about the look and expression on my face.
"Why are you not looking at me? Why are you looking at the air? Look me into the eyes when I'm talking to you! I'll put you in jail. He even kakked all over me because I handed him my driver's licence upside down.

Proof that the Traffic Official should be rather spelt with lower caps in South Africa.

So ultimately one has to have the emotions of an android and Oscar winning acting skills to come across as Mr or Mrs Compliant to avoid giving such an officer a reason to go off at you. Even then they'd probably still find some reason to cause a scene :X3:
