Marsmhallow update causes slow charging

Updated my Galaxy A5 to 6.01 the other day and since then the phone charges very slowly. Before the update for example, the phone would go from 10% to full charge in a car charger in about an hour. Now it doesn't. I normally use my ipad charger and even that charges slowly.

Anyone know if there's some setting or whatever I could do or is this a side effect of updating to 6.01?

Had the same issue on my Galaxy S6. Samsung added a setting under battery for fast charging.

Goto Settings --> Battery --> Enable Fast cable charging.

Mine doesn't have a fast charge option.

Maybe this will work dial *#9900# select delete dumstat, once completed reboot your device(shutdown completely and switch on), see whether there is s difference, also make sure your apps are up-to-dare and nothing is running in the background.

Download an app called clean master comes in handy and pop-ups will display if your battery is being drained out too fast.

Did you clear the phone cache partition after the update?
