Probably because she's one of the race agitators. In her case, she agitates against whites. It is ironic given that the entire party is doing it one or other direction but there's obviously good and bad directions.

He's effectively labelled Zille as right-wing when the strongest growth the DA ever saw was under her.

He can bugger off with that nonsense. This new woke crew within the DA has done more harm than good. Hopefully the party can get back to its true liberal roots.

You can't compare Zille to Maimane. The political landscape is a lot different as compared to what it was when she led the party.

There was a lot less scrutiny on the DA itself when she was in charge because everyone focused on Zuma and the EFF were just starting and not really a threat (so the DA was viewed as the only threat) and it was also before she started Tweeting. If she were in charge of the party during the past two years, its downfall probably would have been worse than under Maimane.

Expect a social media witch-hunt on him by card-carrying DA members if he resigns.

Nope.
Remember the great educational refugees crisis when she correctly said that the WC services were being burdened by migrants from other provinces.
Then the open toilets saga.
And then the outcry when she dared to suggest that deliberately giving someone an infectious disease shouldn't be criminalised.

The vast majority of the ANC are far right in their personal beliefs, yet they enact deeply far left policies.
So on the left/right spectrum the ANC has all their bases covered.

Judging by Zille's comments over the last two days, they would do worse with her. At least MM thinks before he says things.

You're talking rubbish. They're out there every weekend cleaning the streets. He's been evicting bad elements from hijacked buildings, uncovered multiple scams and corruption, JHB water and power respond much faster than they did a couple of years ago etc.

Mashaba's actually been very good.
There's nothing good about South Africa as far as Marintjie is concerned.

Zille and Eusebius going at each other on 702 ... must saying loving the antagonistic approach both are engaging in.

She suggested criminalisation not the opposite. Not that it's useful as it is already criminalised. What she also advocated for was forced testing and criminalising unsafe sex, which views are odd for a liberal.

She needs to get off Twitter. It was fine when she was a private person, but now she is a DA leader again. She can have a twitter account with a social media team in front of her fingers before posting.

So he's resigned, bets on him joining the EFF now?
