Did I mention serial killers? Or did I mention mass stabbings? A serial killer is very different and can be done in any country, it's not a spur of the moment oh I've got three AR-15s with enough ammo here to kill 30 people.
Lol. I don't care what you mentioned or what kind of delusional point you are trying to force. It's clear people kill with or without guns.

Mass shootings are also not spur of the moment.

43% of American households have at least one gun. That means 57% *don’t*:

https://www.statista.com/statistics...eholds-in-the-united-states-owning-a-firearm/

61% of Americans want stricter gun laws and 92% of Americans want background checks:

https://news.gallup.com/poll/1645/guns.aspx

Tell me more how culture hasn’t shifted ‘tho.
These stats rely on people who are willing to report , most die hard 2A folk wont even give details , most would say they dont own a gun .
So again why arent all of these 43% of the population out mass murdering ?

Sorry, I just wanted to get back to this for a moment... Specifically the “stop letting guns scare you” bit.

My first rifle was a .303 Lee-Enfield. Boer War vintage. My great grandfather gave it to my grandfather, and he gave it to me... I was around 9 or 10 years old. Didn’t get to shoot it a lot and it was stolen in a house robbery.

I still miss it.

I’ve also owned a .38 Special and a 9mm Beretta. Sold ‘em both.

Then, there are a couple of SADF threads on MyBB. Folk like me tend to post in them, ‘cos, you know, we were there. I was deployed as an operational medic with a unit called Koevoet... you should google them.

Not only did I get special weapons training back then, I came back from Namibia to instruct special weapons to the next intake... Described all of those weapons in the Las Vegas shooting thread if you’re interested in looking ‘em up.

“Scare me”?

Jabulani, you think you know me, you really don’t.
Wow what an interesting read , perhaps if you had some proof of all of this but id have to just take your word , guess i wont .
I dont think i know you , im judging your posts and they scream anti gun , get rid of evil guns , its that simple.

A lot of bluster and still no evidence. Come on, man. At least try.
The proof is in the fact that every single gun owner is not out right now mass murdering , whats a major thing which could be a factor ...........i'll wait for you to join the dots.

Nah the constitution doesn't protect AR-15s , that one has been done in the courts already.
I havent followed it much but i believe the 2A does not specifically rule out any weapon or type , any such rulings have come from people who may be anti gun or lobbied by anti gun people.

Why does the time frame matter? Would it make you feel better if the serial killer took 3 months to murder 9 people?

What if he had a revolver and took 2 minutes?

It matters because he was shot by police in that time.

So if he attacked people with a knife, the police would have responded in the same time and the damage he would have inflicted would have been far less.

Ya, all hypothetical nonsense. If he only had a knife he would have picked a better location. That wasn't as well protected.

The gun saved lifes by making the killer over confident.

When concerned by the efficiency of killing by gun it is always good to remember the trucks used in attacks can kill similair amounts ,also car bombs and so on and so on . 1554432915895.jpg
Makes me think this is an actual style of thought.

The 2nd amendment doesn't protect AR-15s, like i have said, the courts have ruled on this. Otherwise it wouldnt have been possible to ban them between 94 - 04.

Should have given him a minigun then.

No i didnt say someone i said the courts. And the courts do make distinctions otherwise 2A could be used to cover almost anything.

Ok you implied a court said it , the 2A does not say the right to keep such and such but not this or that , it just says arms , by extenstion howitzers or anything else are allowed.
