That's exactly how it happened. Just an almighty roar but you didn't know what it was. Then thud, thud. I recorded the sound fron inside the lounge and also took quite a few pictures when it was over and of the shredded garden this morning. Struggling to upload because i can't copy and paste for some reason.

Like Ockie we had patches of ice lying around this morning.

Thought I'd upload mine in Boskruin

Checking my car today for dents ; too dirty to pick up shallow dents.

All the empty parking spaces were patrons that go up and moved their cars to the garage at the back as it started. The garage was gridlocked as everyone fought for some space!

Wish we had some, the sering tree in the garden is flowering and hail would have destroyed it's chances of making seeds for a year.

The stones were about 50c size but rock hard. Lots of dimples on my car as I got caught 400m from my house, trying to speed back. Was weird seeing how impacts took the paint from a nearby transformer enclosure as it came down.

Aw I have a fairly large dent and a few shallow ones - but this must have been a killer stone
