Of course they did. They're cadre deployments - impossible to fail. You need to watch the series "Chernobyl' to understand why.

I overheard a radio discussion between Peter Bruce and a woman from Old Mutual one evening where both agree that "planned loadshedding" should be considered to allow Eskom to fix the issues with Medupi and Kusile.

They somehow manage to disregard the fact that none of these problems at Eskom should exist in the first place, yet 702 (and also seemingly Old Mutual as well) plainly concede that we need to accept that these problems happened and that the power utility needs to be afforded the space to fix things.

The AVERAGE salary is R693k, WTF!!??

That is truly staggering for an organisation of that scale.

Nope. Roentgen is the unit. It was named after Wilhelm Röntgen yes. The reference above is to the unit...
You are just using the English translation of the German term.

I can guarantee you that the Germans (and other Europeans) use Röntgen as the unit.
