Yes, there has been a massive shift towards online schooling. I know of one school who grew from 2,000 kids to over 20,000 in a few months last year.

UCT is running the online venture in collaboration with the Valenture Insitute, and is a CAPS-aligned curriculum that enables learners in grades 8 – 12 the opportunity to study at a monthly fee of R2,095.

No thank you. Too expensive for nothing. Teneo Online School offers additional benefits such as live classes by teachers from 07:30 to 14:00. And, Teneo is much cheaper at R1.8k a kid.

I am surprised that on line learning is not the norm now , the days of attending a school after the first 6 to 7 years of school should be over .
There are many international schools that can be attended on line and qualifications are international , the pupil can skill themselves properly for the path that they want to follow .
To many distractions/ bulling/protests from high school on wards .
