The AA should know better, like advising that driving with an expired licence card is not an offence, and offer real advice on how to handle it. For the same reason they should advise that because it is not an offence, no insurer can decline a claim because of an expired licence card……or do they get something under the table for their fearmongering?

Have no fear, I just overtook a taxi on a solid line doing 95 in a 60 zone past a traffic cop and didn't get pulled over.
