Massmart launches "Everything Must Go" deals to shut down 13 Game stores

These Game stores are closing down — and offering up to 40% discounts

Popular general goods retailer Game has listed a batch of stores closing their doors as part of its parent company Massmart's turnaround strategy.

The contingent is the first of an "initial" 13 underperforming stores Massmart previously said it was reviewing for possible sale.

Makes sense, had to google where it was, been there once and the entire area there feels unsafe, this is besides the fact that staff in that store just didn't exist/are impossible to get hold of, but I'm talking like 5 years back.

Will go to the distributor directly. Which is what I generally do with big items anyway. If I have out of box issues then can always go to another game.

So if they’re closing down who is going to honour any warranties on those discounted electronics? Another Game Store or will they say that I didn’t buy it there and they aren’t responsible?
