Hey guys,

So my SO has her masters in Political Science from WITS University. She's now thinking of doing her masters in Project Management, since she works with me now.

I would prefer it if it were part time or correspondence based. Does anyone know if WITS or UNISA offer this? Is UNISA any good?

Thanks in advance.

why would she want to do a master in PM? how would she combined political science and the PM area?

you do realize, just taking some courses in PM doesn't make you a PM. I personally don't hire PM's that have to much education cause they get to caught up in the theory and not know how to handle murphy's law.

Oh God yes, the minute they start reciting Prince some other PM mantra I switch off completely. They're usually the same people who need an FMEA plan when going for a dump.

No it wouldn't be combined with the political science, it would be a stand alone thing to help me in my business. She isn't using the political science qualification at present.

Thanks.

Hehe, did a PM course before but that stuff went out the window very quickly. I did it my way and always delivered.
