Well for general workers just putting the cars together. But math and science builds them as well:

I cringe each time when there's a big hoo-ha being made and they report in the media that "Sipho from Soshanguve" built his own helicopter/plane/car etc. The reality is that he built something that maybe looks like it, but at most it would be useful for entertainment and amusement purposes. I have never seen in the media that what that Mr. Sipho built could actually perform as what mode of transport he tried to replicate.

so what do you need? dancing and Singing? Muti? Herbs, Ancestors,

what exactly skills can they bring, besides looting, burning, and stealing
oh and dancing and singing...

For most jobs a good attitude and getting along with colleagues. Not threatening violence is bare minimum.

I have worked on projects where part of the work force is barely literate. As for mathematics, most people in this world are innumerate.

It's like a parrot talking. Do we now call it human and give it a right to vote ?

It obviously depends on the job.

An engineer with no social skills can be a hindrance.
Someone with a degree in formal logic, the classics and latin (humanities) can be just as valuable.
If you're dealing with different cultures perhaps someone who is multilingual (humanities) can be better than a computer engineer who thinks that his second language is JavaScript?

agreed, but in this Context to BUILD Cars, tell me how is somebody with an Art Degree more useful than a Engineer?

granted, if we were speaking about the reception area or training center furniture, yes, somebody who knows their Rembrandt is more useful,
but out on the production floor, I fail to see how Mr Art degree will fare when putting in 5 Bolts, and Torquing them to spec,

If engineers were left to design everything the world would consist of only triangles, circles and squares.

but it would arguably work, we wouldn't have Trains too tall to fit on the tracks they meant to serve,
and we wouldn't have workers DEMANDING Jobs, because they can Dance, Toy-Toyi better than their Comrades.

My mind fails to comprehend going to Ford and saying Give us jobs because were Black....
it simply fails to comprehend it, Im imagining the management had a good laugh afterwards at the Stupidity.

Welcome Pete, we hear you are descendent of Wright family. It is not everyday we get such eminent luminaries on this forum.
