Mathematics does not build cars, marchers tell Ford Motor Company

Ford should just pack the f**k up and leave South Africa and do it elsewhere. No use doing business in a country where this type of mentality prevails.

If they do decide to stay in SA, I think every single worker from top to bottom should get only the minimum wage with no additional benefits.

Someone told me they want to build a new one for EV stuff, and that one was halted.
I suspect such project could have been canned for other reasons besides our Eskom problems.

I cringe each time when there's a big hoo-ha being made and they report in the media that "Sipho from Soshanguve" built his own helicopter/plane/car etc. The reality is that he built something that maybe looks like it, but at most it would be useful for entertainment and amusement purposes. I have never seen in the media that what that Mr. Sipho built could actually perform as what mode of transport he tried to replicate.

Neither did it ever get FAA approval to leave the ground.

agreed, but in this Context to BUILD Cars, tell me how is somebody with an Art Degree more useful than a Engineer?

granted, if we were speaking about the reception area or training center furniture, yes, somebody who knows their Rembrandt is more useful,
but out on the production floor, I fail to see how Mr Art degree will fare when putting in 5 Bolts, and Torquing them to spec,

Or pre tensioning a wheel bearing.

If engineers were left to design everything the world would consist of only triangles, circles and squares.

Look around you. Even those that don't look like them can be put under the microscope and they will show up as such...

Stupid article. Most people working on the manufacturing line don't need any mathematical skills.

Nope. Anyone working on this car production line will require math to programme, service, repair and maintain the robots:

Cargo cult lives!

Oh yes, here we go . I would suggest anyone that has no idea of the cargo cult reads up to see what a lack of math results in:

A cargo cult is an indigenist millenarian belief system, in which adherents perform rituals which they believe will cause a more technologically advanced society to deliver goods.
