Toy manufacturer Mattel has said it "deeply regrets" a misprint on packaging for dolls inspired by the new Wicked movie which listed the address for an adult website.

The company recently released the singing dolls ahead of the long-awaited film starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

But eagle-eyed fans posted images on social media showing the packaging had a pornography website on it, instead of the movie's web address.

Most perverts and pedophilias are in children's arts, games industries, or nursery/creche teachers and in the alphabet communities where they position themselves for maximum exposure to children. So this is not surprising as it was probably on purpose.

Or, you know, you forget to add "film" or "series" at the end of a website search and end up with something entirely different :p

For instance trying looking up the movie called Motherless.

Yeah, the entire movie is based on porn. They chose the title of the film specifically for this purpose. To make sure kids see porn. That's how they make their real money, cause they actually own wicked.com and they did this to drive traffic, which has been dropping lately.

You might say spending 145 million dollars on creating a movie for this purpose doesn't make sense financially, but that's how business works. You gotta spend money to make money. And there's A LOT of money to be made by unsuspecting kids visiting porn sites after typing in web addresses found on packaging for dolls. That's a fact.

Stormy Daniels is one of their stars.

The site is actually benign, a kid wouldn't know what is going on.
Everything is behind a paywall.

Flipping hilarious though.
I wonder how this was revealed though... did a kid actually go to the website or did someone's dad see the link, and realise he knew that site....

This doesn't come close to the Noddy VHS fiasco.
