Went on the top of Coin de Mire today :) Awesome view,also went to flat island and snorkiled(sp?) and its brilliant!
 
im heading to Mauritius on 21 April, give some pointers on cool things to do pls.

Ummm well im seeing my family and stuff(last tike I saw them was when I was 9-1998) and also trying to sort out my passport and ID but basically stick to things with the sea!

You can buy your way around the island with a bottle Jonny Walker Red :)
Hire a taxi with driver for the whole day = 1 bottle.

Great place to be :D

Just watch out for their local rum or cane, it is ROUGH!!!
 
did u hire a car or use taxis

Rented a car.Nothing big needed.Daihatsu Cuore or whatever Malaysian equivalent(1000cc engine) they have to offer is good enough.Not many steep climbs and the Island is not very big.Also cheap on petrol,cause that is the one thing that is expensive in Mauritius.

We are using our uncles car and boat since they live down umm the sea:D A taxi would be fine I guess here + they do have public transport,a buses that come.

I caught two fish just not big enough to eat :(
