From his FB page:

I don't say this lightly, but all things considered, I think it is now safe to say that the ANC is no longer a progressive movement. (And its constant references to "the revolution" just make them look silly.) What a shame. I wonder if this statement would have been true if the ANC exiles hadn't killed off the UDF and its culture of accountability, transparency and non-racialism after 1990.

The same UDF that was headed up by none other than Rev. Boesak? Or is he referring to the United Dairy Farmers?

Why do we keep on saying these things about the ANC to each other. It doesn't help us one bit.

And when we have said these things directly to the ANC ... it's like water off a duck's back.

Max has been saying that for the longest time. Don't know how this is Current Affairs? Or what the point of this is?

The ANC has been a regressive movement since the late 40s. I'd suggest that bowel movements have more charm and accomplish more but when you consider that the president of a country with a worse record of plundering post colonial independence than even Zimbabwe is supported by the leader of the ANC, well, that just provides proof.

Talking about Kabila and the DRC.

I have enjoyed Max du Preez's books, he has a wealth of knowledge. Also enjoyed the program he had on Kyknet with Antjie Krog and Andre Saayman. It was very interesting.

I'm sure it won't take long and he will also be labeled a racist.

Is he not confusing the UDF (and not the farmers thingy :D) with the UDM, which I though was a far more honourable party?

True. They are so busy fighting for power and fleecing the country of every last cent, that I doubt they even noticed that Rome is starting to burn around them.

Max and Proff Jansen are two of the wisest men in this country.

You could probably also add the "Arch" to that list ;)
