Mazda2, Ford Fiesta, VW Polo. Which would you get (new) and why?

I guess, I'm going to be the one to end the silence in here. :wtf:

I'd place a vote for the VW Polo, they are solidly built cars, the new model comes equipped with quite an array of standard equipment, and the touch screen is actually quite decent.

Personally, I'd stay away from the Fiesta, it's a fun car to drive, but it feels cheaply made and not as well composed, especially when you compare it to the Polo.

Got my 2014 Fiesta titanium with all the added extra as a demo for R229000

Extremely happy with it. Not dead boring like a polo and has all the tech i want and need. My only gripe is lack of a 6th gear.
I have no experience with French makes, but IMO the polo is overpriced, underequipped, (unless you are willing to shell out extra cash) and is the most boring inside and out. In VW's favour, the polo will hold it's value the most out of the 3.

Go for the fiesta.

Oh, one other thing. Try out the DSG gearbox if you can, it's a lot of fun, be it only with a 1.2 engine.

Got a 2014 demo ST for that price. There's a 6th gear in that:p

The Polo and its 1.2 doesn't impress me as much and neither does it's price. But there's not much else to complain about.

The Fiesta is a fun little car, but doesn't seem too be as comfortable as the Polo. Also what's up with all the buttons

The Mazda2 is brand new with the SkyActiv-Tech inside and just feels like a good car overall, with a nice price too.

Polo is bland.

Mazda2 is a girls car.

Fiesta would be my choice.
