I keep hearing this today but no one is reporting the reason behind it. Anyone know? I would like to know, not just speculations please. ;)

Yes. Zuma supporters became unruly against Mbeki just as they have been doing at various meetings where Mbeki is present. The heckling is mostly levelled against Mbeki for refusing to re-instate Zuma as Deputy Pres of SA.

Sounds like its done on purpose, they should definitely ban these morons. This is so typical south african mentality, no respect for authority or the law.

These same people vote ANC like sheep, now they're all suddenly JZ supporters and continue to do stupid things [like sheep] .

Probably the same type of people who toi-toi in the streets demanding absurd
crap and then vandalizing everything in sight [but they expect less crime, better wages, better municipal services]....how do you ever listen to people like that? And THESE are people [read: sheep] swinging the vote :(

Yeah...JZ saved Thabo from further humiliation.

more like JZ plotted Pres. humiliation and then 'saved' from further humiliation so that earlier humiliation of JZ is not in the news anymore?

I'm all for the third way :D :

How about people exercising their right to disagree with Thabo Mbeki. I mean, all they did was heckle and then walk out ...

Exactly...only in a dictatorship are people forbidden from expressing disapproval of leadership.

Well they didn't walk out - they sort of ran away en-masse :D only to be met by closed gates and sharpshooters.

(and of course JZee just lapped it up) :D

I'd heckle too ... if I was forced to listen to a politician by sharpshooters :D

A team of senior African National Congress members in KwaZulu-Natal will investigate who had humiliated President Thabo Mbeki at the reburial service of struggle hero Moses Mabhida in Pietermaritzburg.
-
On Sunday, ANC secretary-general Kgalema Motlanthe said those who had misbehaved would be named and shamed and also barred from gatherings, just like skinheads who disrupted soccer matches in Europe.

Democracy at work.

Top ANC men will find out who insulted Mbeki Dec 05 06
