Hi

I bought Microsoft exchange products from a Microsoft re-seller or what ever they are called my understanding is that they get a commission for the sale does anyone know if its possible to stop the commission being paid or move it to a different retailer. The purchase happened in the past few days and since then the service has been so bad I do not want them to receive a single cent.

Thanks please help me before its to late and the ******* Gets any money:twisted::twisted:

Generally the reseller buys from a distributor who buys from the vendor. And generally sales are by way of discount passed at time of purchase, not commission or rebate.

It's much like buying a loaf of bread from the cafe.

That is possible but I dont think thats what happened in my case because I got an invoice from Microsoft and paid Microsoft and not the reseller. the reason i think he gets a commission is that before he set up my cart of items he logged into his personal Microsoft account to send me the purchase link.

Ah, ok. Then I'd instantly take it up with the vendor.

That said, Msft will probably say their role is limited to the delivery of the software and licence and not any additional services you contracted with the reseller (eg installation and configuration). They won't get involved in those disputes.

Good luck!
