Yes, it is possible. I don't think it is particularly useful though, and you can do the same in just about any mobile phone.Gings is it possible to add something to scan for all networks available 2g/3g wise? Like the MTN app // see attached

That was a one reason I had to switch to Mobile Partner. The other reason (and much more frequent) was when I received notificaton about SMS, which MDMA cannot read.Yes, it is possible. I don't think it is particularly useful though, and you can do the same in just about any mobile phone.
For which device? Can you implant RSRP (dBm) and RSRQ (dB) reads please?
For which device?
Do you have the AT commands to retrieve these values?
Do you see any value for ^LTERSRP in the bottom-right corner of MDMA?

I think those are are RSRP and RSRQ, see What is ^LTERSRP?
Maybe your modem doesn't provide that information.Nope.![]()
Haha definitely nottheir contact point with you is their sim card. Which is not in the modem anymore. So bill you for what

No, they don't know, they can't bill you too, but they have tried to be clever.I have a Vodacom K3770 HSPA modem from a previous contract, the old contract sim has been removed and I have put in a prepaid Cell C sim card. Now I know Vodacom has been funny with device locking in the past and so on. Now my noob question is that if I do use a prepaid Cell C sim card in this contract modem, would Vodacom know? and will they try to 'bill' me for somethig? xD I would like to use the prepaid Cell C sim card in this modem and connect with MDMA and all of that is fine and working![]()
Can you compare what Device Manager shows with the different driver versions? Now i tried the newest version of MDMA with GTM382, only partial luck with different drivers:
v5.0.12 - card detected, although the USSD does not work which is crucial feature to me.
v5.1.28 - card is NOT detected
v5.1.40 - card is NOT detected
Can you compare what Device Manager shows with the different driver versions?
Especially the Modems, Network Adapters and Ports sections.
Something like this:

Are you sure it is exactly the same between 5.0 and 5.1 drivers? In all cases it is:
GlobeTrotter MO40x - Modem Interface
GlobeTrotter MO40x - Network Interface
GlobeTrotter MO40x - Application Interface (COM6)
GlobeTrotter MO40x - Diagnostics Interface (COM5)
and one additional "GlobeTrotter MO40x" under USB controllers.
Are you sure the GTM382 can do USSD? Does the manufacturer state that it can? However, USSDs are still the issue.
I also plugged in one of my older devices (GX0301) into the same machine, got USSD without problems.
You are perfectly right, i did not notice:Are you sure it is exactly the same between 5.0 and 5.1 drivers?
Something must be different that causes MDMA to detect the device with the 5.0 driver and not the 5.1 driver.
Got it! Got the USSDs from GTM382. Even though i could not find it clearly stated in the specifications, i presumed USSDs had to be supported. I cannot say what fixed it, i played a lot with enabling/disabling interfaces via AT_OIFACE command. Are you sure the GTM382 can do USSD? Does the manufacturer state that it can?
