Not in MDMA, but readme for MDMA can give you a clue. Check "Connect / Disconnect" section. You can use the same command line in autorun batch file.Is there any way that I can make it auto connect after restart?
I was going to ask, are you sure this modem uses the same AT commands that Option modems use?MDMA.EXE /PORT:COM20 /COMMANDSET:OPTION
INSTANTLY "AN ERROR OCCURED WHILE INITIALIZING THE MOBILE DATA DEVICE"
So it seems this modem doesn't work with generic AT commands either.SAME RESULTS WITHOUT /COMMANDSET:OPTION.
Yeah, this all started back in 2006 just after I joined. Used this app alot back then and it's subsequent updates.Gosh, I haven't read this thread for years. Good necro!
I used to use it because it would work on Windows Server 2008, or was it 2003?, unlike the vodacom software at the time.Yeah, this all started back in 2006 just after I joined. Used this app alot back then and it's subsequent updates.
With the advent of free standing routers I guess this no longer worked unless if you still use a USB dongle.
I found a Telkom one in a drawer and thought I could use it for the SD card slot but unfortunately Windows does not register it, only the Dlink modem software drive is seen, and no, it does not work when installed, neither the internet nor the card reader.
Don't care much for the modem part, the SD card reader would have been handy for my Rpi projects, no need to fire up the laptop for it's slot.
And somehow it managed to bypass modems that were locked to a specific network. I had a modem locked to MTN and used this with a Vodacom SIM and bypassed the network lock.I used to use it because it would work on Windows Server 2008, or was it 2003?, unlike the vodacom software at the time.
