Hi all. Does Has anyone purchased the Mecer 12V Inverter (1200VA/720W) from takealot that has an orange case ( https://www.takealot.com/mecer-12v-...ncludes-1x-100ah-12v-deep-cycle-/PLID90883102 ). Can't seem to find any videos or clear photos on how the product actually looks. I know the Inverter is inside, but is it fitted in in such a way that inverter can easily be removed from the case if need be like this one ( https://www.takealot.com/mecer-bbon...ortable-metal-casing-excl-batter/PLID68137691 ) which has the inverter fitted in and when you open up the casing, you can physically remove the inverter from the case and get something like this ( https://www.takealot.com/mecer-1200...with-lcd-display-without-battery/PLID71641275 ), or is that not possible with this version? If anyone has any pictures of what the unit looks like from all angles and on the inside, would love to see them please.

Why want it seperate? Perfect as is.

It should be changeable in case something breaks. Don't want to be buying a full set in the future.

Think you are overthinking it here.

Odds are if it does break and needs to be replaced the new one won’t fit the cut-outs anyway unless they are already on an extension board.

It’s just a fancy trolley/chassis to make it look neat, pretty sure everything is just loose inside.

Why not ask here…

There's another one on takealot that looks similar, but the version with handles is absolutely different.
thats fine but why would you want to buy a modified sine wave off takealot for the same price as a pure sine wave with the same or even better spec.life expectancy on these isnt very high .by the time the warranty is over the batteries are toast.the case has rusted .the transistors are tired .the one wheel has fallen off and that pesky mains spike has blown the psu .give it 3 years if you are lucky and 6 months on the batteries.and yes im just a bundle of joy when it comes to cheap chinese stuff .and i forgot its gonna sound like an old pentium 4 overheating in the corner .
